The Japan S™ PF shoes are based on our retro model from 1981. This exclusive women's line has been redesigned with neutral tones, while the traditional midsole has been replaced by a platform. This traditional style mimics the aesthetics of a retro basketball shoe and is also combined with the nostalgic ASICS logo, tiger stripes on the side panels and the ASICS lettering on the heel. The JAPAN S™ PF shoe features the vintage basketball shoe aesthetic paired with iconic, court-specific details, inspired by the shoes basketball players wore on hardwood courts in the 1980s.
